The Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the Swachh Bharat Diwas on the 2nd of October 2019 at Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The PM was keen to celebrate on the banks of the river Sabarmati as a fitting tribute to Mahatma Gandhi Ji during his 150th birth anniversary celebrations.
A digital and technical exhibition with multifaceted technologies like Touch screens, interactive AV, Augmented Reality, Sublimotion and interactive installations were created at the venue to showcase how India achieved the targets under the world’s biggest open-defecation free programme.
A world-class laser, projection mapping, and smart lighting show of 20 minutes on the Swachh Bharat Mission at the riverfront was created to mesmerize the 25,000 ministers, international experts, sarpanches and ‘swachhgrahis’ from across the country who attended the show.
