Procurement / Purchase Executive

Job Responsibilities/ KRAs:
- Source, negotiate and purchase materials, equipment, services, and supplies from vendors based out of PAN India locations. Sourcing of relevant vendor in same category.
- Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project.
- Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
- Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
- Prepare procurement reports, cashflow (inflow and outflow).
- Evaluate supplier/ vendor performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation.
- Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements.
- Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Required Profile:
- Graduation/ Diploma in supply chain management, logistics or business administration.
- 5+ years of experience as a procurement executive with an events/ exhibits company and should have detailed idea of the industry functionality.
- Open to travel as per project site requirement and visiting the vendor as and when required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and power point).
- knowledge of Tally will be extra advantage.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Resourceful, self-driven, proactive.
